Jennifer Considered Quitting Acting

Jennifer Lawrence says she considered turning her back on acting when she first rose to fame. The 20-year-old shot into fame with her role in last year’s Winter’s Bone, which won her an Academy Award nomination, and she has since gone on to land roles in X-Men: First Class and The Hunger Games opposite Liam Hemsworth.
“People started talking to me differently and I couldn’t stand that. I’d go to parties where I used to be invisible and off the record… now everybody’s watching and listening,” dailystar quoted her as saying. “There was a weird element and I wondered whether I wanted to be a director or just do indie films,” she added.
